Dizzie had previously produced a design for reusable pot suitable for dry and ambient goods. As the business grew and repositioned it’s self from D2C to B2B this pot was no longer fit for purpose.
The brief was to develop a low cost iterative improvement to the current design avoiding the need to disrupt the current filling and handling processes. The design should have a quick tern around to produce supporting the business through it’s transition and allowing time to develop a full packaging relaunch.
ARNE.STUDIO redesigned the pack, not only delivering against the brief but producing a solution which was able to eliminate many of the issues associated with reuse at scale while reducing packaging costs, increasing product shelf life and reducing pot damage through the supply chain.
ARNE.STUDIO is fluent in many common packaging production technologies particularly injection molding (IM) and blow molding (EBM and ISBM) Through modification of existing injection mold tool assets, our solution allowed Dizzie to enhance their current pack requiring only a low capital investment. In addition to this the new solution would still support use of the existing body assets in circulation during the transition preventing unnecessary waste and further reducing cost.
