In this project our multinational client was looking to expose just enough information to their artists to support fast, simple and approved artwork modification.
Artwork and artwork automation continues to become more powerful with increasing levels of rules and checks placed directly within the file’s history. This data allows sophisticated PLM applications to mange and update artwork but can result in increased complexity for the artist who does not have access to such PLM systems.
To resolve this bottle neck and simplify the artwork workflow ARNE.STUDIO developed a lightweight custom Adobe Illustrator plugin enabling the artist to quickly view important tags within the files meta data (XMP) and adjust their work accordingly.
